I recently had circumcision done under local anaesthesia at Leicester Circumcision Clinic based at Community Health Centre , Melbourne Road, Leicester.

I have to say that from the beginning of the anaesthetic till the end the procedure was comfortable. I never felt anything after the local anaesthetic was given during the whole procedure and up until it was healed.

I feared the worse thinking it would be painful. During the procedure I was comfortable and once the anaesthetic wore off I never felt anything. Amazing. Never even had to take any painkillers. Healing was good also.
It was a very good service and the results were excellent I was treated well and respected by Dr Gulraiz Rauf the surgeon, and his assistant Irfan Sheikh. I was also given good after care and medication etc.
I would definitely recommend others who wish to have procedures to go to this surgery/practise.

Hassle free – Pain free – Adult circumcision
Great service from beginning to end… The Doctor was very flexible and accommodated my preferred date and time which I appreciated. Communication was great with his assistant from the outset. These 2 initial things brought great peace of mind as I knew I was dealing with very competent professionals. This Doctor had been recommended to me by 2 friends who had also had a very positive experience. It turns out that they are well established and well respected. The Doctor and his assistant explained everything to me prior to my arrival and throughout my time at the surgery (less than 2 hours from arriving till I was ready to drive home). Very clear guidance regarding after care and I’m happy to report I have experienced a pain free recovery to date. Highly recommended and worth every penny!

Private service

Not used the GP services but I went here for a private circumcision when the local NHS messed my appointments up and I was left with a 48 week wait. From first contact with the doctor to the actual procedure with him and another doctor I was in good hands. Very friendly, helpful and informative. I was more nervous driving to the appointment than any time during the surgery. Came away with antibiotics, cream and soap, all included in the price and that was a lot less than anywhere else locally. Cant praise them enough.

Excellent service for private circumcision

The community health centre was recommended by my work colleague.We reside in Peterborough. We came in for a private circumcision of our adorable 2 week’s old son.I can’t thank or praise the staff member enough for his excellent services from the get go!We didn’t have to wait long to get an appointment!We dreaded the day and were a bit anxious but once we got to the clinic,our experience from the receptionist was of pure professionalism.Didn’t have to wait long.The Dr.and staff member have a great partnership,very professional.The local anaesthetic wasn’t nice you watch but my son did well and actually fell asleep briefly as the numbness was kicking in.we didn’t wait too long,called back in,went through the consent forms and explained the plastibell technique of circumsition.Showed a lot of empathy,reassurance and went through the aftercare with us thoroughly and also was given a follow up number to text or call in case we needed any advice.The staff member has been great as I’ve called him a few times out of hours and he gave me his time,advice and post op care.My wife and I would like to thank the whole team and strongly recommend this clinic to other parents,from Jerry

Circumcision of my boy recently done in Leicester medicare clinic, excellent service.I left message in website, got reply very quickly,and explained and answered all my questions over phone by assistant,found further details on website which helped .It went as explained, very good team, good environment, very professional service, much appreciated and thanks for providing much needed such a good service.Highly recommended.

I went there with my husband on a Sunday For the Circumcision of our Son Muhammad. The service was absolutely amazing. Perfectly clean environment. Well behaved staff. Especially impressed by Dr Gulraiz and Mr Irfan Sheikh.
My child healed very well. There was no need for paracetamol. Alhamdulilah I didn’t Notice any difference in his behaviour as if nothing had happened. I would highly recommend.

I am really impressed by the high level of customer service and professionalism. My both sons had circumcision here.The surgeons are very humble and competent. 24/7 support is available. We had done lot of research before using their services because it is very sensitive job. I am more than happy to recommend them. If I will have 3rd son, InshaAllah I will use them again

The surgeon and Irfan have changed my life, since the surgery the pain I was in regularly has now gone. The surgery was quick and painless, the procedure and after care were explained in detail, and any questions I had were answered day or night by Irfan. There was some discomfort while I healed but no pain and everything is now healed and so much better than before. From the bottom of my heart thank you, and I would highly recommend them if you want/need a circumcision.

Brilliant service!! Circumcision carried out by Dr Khawaja Gulraz Rauf and surgical assistant Mr Irfan Sheikh. They were both very professional and helpful, answered all my questions and worries about my child’s circumcision. Also the after care is outstanding, you can call them anytime for any ?’s or issues you may have, they’re there to help you.

Excellent service, would highly recommend . Just had the procedure done to my 20 day old son, during the Covid 19 pandemic and they are still carrying out the procedure (which was a sigh of relief as it the procedure is best done early for newborns) you can tell straight away that both clinicians are highly trained and have extensive experience between them.
Won’t bother looking elsewhere in the future and recommend to all friends and family.
